Grand Haven Masonic Lodge No. 139 has served this community for more than a century and a half through fellowship, education, charity, and personal development.

Lodge Story

A steady course in Grand Haven since 1863.

Our members include teachers, tradesmen, business owners, veterans, first responders, engineers, healthcare professionals, and community leaders.

What brings us together is a shared commitment to character, service, and lifelong learning. Through fellowship, education, and charitable effort, we work to improve ourselves while strengthening the communities around us.

The Compass & The Coast

For centuries, sailors crossed uncertain waters guided by stars, charts, and the compass. Freemasonry asks men to navigate life by equally reliable principles: wisdom, integrity, justice, and self-discipline.

The square teaches us to act honorably. The compass reminds us to keep our passions within due bounds. Along Lake Michigan, these lessons remain as practical today as they were generations ago.
